What we've built, described by outcome.
Client names are withheld under NDA. The problems, the approach, and the results are real.
Cloud model migration with links intact
Moved a live ACC project's models to a new hub while preserving every linked relationship — zero relink rework.
A multi-discipline team needed to consolidate cloud models across hubs mid-project. Hand-migration would have meant re-resolving hundreds of links by hand. Custom automation walked the link graph and re-pointed references against the new cloud paths, with a signed diff log of every change.
One-run project initialization
Automated the setup of coordinated cloud project environments from a firm template — folders, permissions, worksharing, and seed model in a single run.
Standing up a new ACC project was a recurring Friday-afternoon ritual. The tool now scaffolds the project, uploads the central model with worksharing enabled, and stamps role permissions from a version-controlled template — turning an afternoon into minutes.
Electrical substation documentation
Cut repetitive drafting on substation packages through custom Revit automation for view creation and detailing.
An engineering team produced near-identical documentation sets across many substations. Custom automation generated section views, detailing, tagging, and dimensioning from model data — freeing engineers to review instead of redraw.
One-line & three-line diagram generation
Generated electrical one-line and three-line schematics directly from engineering data — no manual diagram drafting.
Schematics were being drawn by hand from spreadsheets of engineering data. A custom pipeline read the source data and generated coordinated one-line and three-line diagrams, keeping the drawings in lockstep with the underlying engineering record.
Model data to the business
Streamed model and project metrics out of ACC into a firm dashboard for leadership visibility.
Leadership wanted project-health visibility without opening Revit. An APS-based pipeline extracted model metrics on a schedule and fed a Power BI dashboard — warnings, file growth, and link health, surfaced where the business already looks.
CAD-to-Revit conversion
Automated conversion of legacy DWG content into coordinated Revit models with schedules and sheets.
A backlog of legacy DWG drawings needed to become usable Revit content. Custom automation converted geometry, generated legends and schedules, and placed views on sheets — collapsing a manual re-modeling effort into a batch process.
