How it deploys

Standard signed MSI plus a .addin manifest. Push via Intune, GPO, or your network share — the same channel you already use for Revit add-ins. The license file lives at %ProgramData%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins. There is no background service, no custom installer, no DSQ runtime.

What IT will ask, and the answers

Does it phone home?
No. License validation is offline against an embedded public key. We do not collect telemetry from inside the product.
Are installers signed?
Yes — Authenticode-signed MSIs. Download URLs are short-lived Azure Blob SAS tokens scoped to your active license.
Where does our model data go?
Nowhere we control. The tool talks directly from the workstation to Autodesk's APS endpoints over HTTPS. We never see model data.
What happens if DSQ goes away?
Your license is a signed JSON file validated offline. The add-in keeps running for the Revit year it's licensed against, with or without us.
