Stop hand-stitching cloud project setups.
DSQ Cloud Init turns the Friday-afternoon ritual of standing up a new ACC project into a five-minute, audited, repeatable run. Built for the people who own BIM operations at the firm.
The problem you actually have
A new project kicks off. The PM wants the cloud project up by Monday. You spend an afternoon clicking through ACC, uploading the seed model, repairing twenty links, stamping permissions, and writing the audit log into a SharePoint doc nobody will read.
On the next migration job — file server to ACC, or BIM 360 to ACC, or one ACC hub to another — you do most of it again, manually, and pray no link path got rewritten wrong.
What changes
-
Setup is a single run.Pick template, name project, click Initialize. The tool creates the ACC project, uploads the seed model, enables worksharing, repairs links, and stamps permissions in one transactional run.
-
Migration uses the same engine.File server → ACC, BIM 360 → ACC, ACC → ACC. Configure source, configure target, run. The link graph is walked and re-resolved automatically.
-
The audit writes itself.Every run produces a signed JSON record — what was created, what was uploaded, every relink applied, every permission stamped. Drop it in your project record.
-
Permission templates are version-controlled.Standard role permissions (Architect, MEP, Owner, Subs) live in YAML the BIM lead controls. No more click-fests in the ACC UI for every new job.
-
Headless mode for fleet setup.Drive the tool from the command line for unattended scripted setups across dozens of projects. Same engine as the ribbon UI.
How it deploys
Standard signed MSI plus a .addin manifest. Push via Intune, GPO, or your network share — the same channel you already use for Revit add-ins. The license file lives at %ProgramData%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins. There is no background service, no custom installer, no DSQ runtime.
